Oh my god!! I am …
Oh my god!! I am so in love with this new technology. Technology is getting better and better! These kinds of TVs will only be affordable to millionaires. This is too… no… way too expensive. Right now they’ve invented 150″ and maybe 10 to 20 years from now it will be 400″ and up. Who needs to go to movie theater if you have the one at home almost similar to the actual theater screen!

I read somewhere that it will cost about twice as much as the 103 inch which is $70k. So this one would probably cost about $140k.

    A word of caution …
A word of caution to all the droolers here. Before purchasing any Panasonic plasma TV, take a minute to ask them about the quality control problems with the p-board and you may discover a dirty little secret of an otherwise excellent product.
BTW.. the cost to replace the P-Board can be 25% to the TV itself. Be prepared to pay this in 13 to 30 months to purchase.

    feh still not good …
feh still not good for gaming. Burn in is still a terrible problem with plasmas. They automatically assume that we are going to use the TV once in awhile for movies or the super bowl. Now if they had consumer LCD’s that big this is another story.

    Even thought it’s …
Even thought it’s not on the market, just a guess that if it was the 150 incher would cost about $200,000.

    Very cool.
A res that high means little unless the content is actually using it – otherwise, jaggies from hell. Now, if it has it’s own anti-alaising filter, that would help, but would end up blurring the picture. Regardless, if film was ever digitalized in 4k x 2k, the film grain would be so bad and large, it would irritate the out of you (seeing how 1080p/i)

Cool idea, but Hollywood, big media companies, cable companies, satellite and everything else has to catch up first..
